והניף ידו על הנהר התשי”א

Class One. This class discusses the idea of the splitting the river (בינה) to reveal the essence [מעיין- חכמה]. Just like קריעת ים סוף was not only to save the Jewish people but to reveal Godliness as a preparation for מתן תורה, similarly, the splitting of the נהר prepares for the revelation of פנימיות התורה. This is how Moshiach teaches צדיקים how to do תשובה, because next to the עצם everyone is far.

Class Two. In this class the issue of ריח- smell is explored mystically. There are all kinds of levels: 1) food for regeneration of physical body, 2) life in food to link (keep the connection) between the Neshama and the body, 3) taste and what it gives a person, 4) wine that enriches and makes happy, 5) beauty of prepared food, 6) smell of food, it adds nothing in terms of nourishment but so much in terms of what the person needs to be a sophisticated deep person. The level of smell is Soul associated only and gets a person in touch with his subconscious (חי-ה) and essence (יחידה). The meaning of מורח ודאין is not that he judges by smell, but rather that the judgement of his mind is helped and empowered by access to the יחידה which makes his judgement precise. Moshiach knows what are the motivating factors of each person and he therefore knows them precisely. The following Ma’amar is a Hemshech to the one before.
