01a. Shema Yisrael 5715, Class One. This first (of three) classes on the Ma’amar introduces the questions: why is there doubt whether to include שמע ישראל in פסוקי מלכיות on the one hand, and then it becomes the most important of all ten פסוקי מלכיות. This class begins the discussion on בגין דישתמודעון בי’ה (to know Hashem; which parallels the knowing Hashem in the Possuk שמע ישראל). On the first level (which I try to explain according to Chakira) we explain knowing Hashem, the Creator only and no more and no higher.
