01b. Ze HaYom 5736, Class Two. This class in on the first half (and the very end) of the Ma’amar, and it explores this ‘Possuk’ from the Davening זה היום תחילת מעשיך זכרון ליום ראשון [this day is (both) the beginning of Your actions and (as well as) a reminiscence of the first day (which in this Ma’amar means 25 Elul, the day of creation)]. The Rebbe explains how זה היום תחילת מעשיך is much higher than יום ראשון; but when we (Yidden) fulfill the mandate (purpose for creation) of זה היום תחילת מעשיך we affect the יום ראשון that it also becomes זכרון impossible to be forgotten.
