01b. Shema Yisrael 5715, Class Two. This second (of three) class on the Ma’amar explores בגין דישתמודעון בי’ה (Knowing Hashem) on a level much beyond Malchus. This is due to to two things: 1) There’s the world per ce’ and there’s the world’s purpose. If the world allows us to now only Malchus, the world’s purpose allows us to know all levels connected to that purpose. 2) This is due to (what the Rebbe calls) the creation following the design of כלל ופרט (first it’s all included in a point and then it diversifies and radiates outward and downward). This allows the world to exist entirely in the Klal, bit it also provides for the opposite, the klal (purpose and Divine delight in creation) is found in each detail, and as such we can know Him by knowing the PURPOSE of the world. We explained this by discussing what we gain by having אלקות or אור, which allows for inclusiveness in both the ways listed above and the gain that it brings. We also discussed the choice of words כלל ופרט and not פשיטות and how this can apply even before the Tzimtzum, and even in Atzmus (!!!).
