Two stories.
1) The fifth light of Chanukah, can never be Shabbos, which represents the deepest darkness. This teaches that even one who is lost in the deepest darkness, the power of the Chanukah Licht can bring them back. In London, Warsaw, New York, Toronto.
2) The Rebbe sends someone to the Hasofer family in Tasmania (this story has inaccuracies, so I’m enclosing a text of the story from the children of the Hasofers (in Hebrew)).
