The first part of this class reviewed the end of Perek 1. The idea that Shmone Esrei (Yehuda’s) Yichud Zu”N is about bringing Godliness down and as such is altogether different that the earlier parts of Davening.
It concluded with re-asking the question about interrupting with אדנ-י שפתי תפתח.
The second part of the class began Perek 2, the downside of Tefilla being ‘personal religion’ limited and defined by the person alone; while Torah (and Mitzvos) that are divine have an automatic infinity.
