The story of Mesiras Nefesh (Reb Dovid Okinov O”H).
The Korbanos of Mesiras Nefesh are greater than the Korbanos in the Beis Hamikdash.
When people go through so much and still stand unbending and unchanging (altogether) in their connection to Hashem, this is the highest Inyan.
זה דור דורשיו מבקשי פניך יעקב סלה the last words יעקב סלה means the unchanging Jew.
Class Two.
Three things that never change:
1) לא שניתי Hashem never changes.
2) לא כליתם Jewish people don’t change at all.
3) לא ישבותו nature never changes is a reaction and consequence of the fact that Jewish people in their relationship with Hashem are לא כליתם and as such they touch the לא שניתי and reveal the לא ישבותו.
Class Three.
Shalom; peace is the vessel for joining and unifying opposites.
Three ideas of peace:
1) In Noach’s Ark.
2) The Sukah where all Jews can share as one.
3) Moshiach.
The work for peace now reveals Tiferes and brings about the revelation of Moshiach.
