06b. Mishnayos Perek Aizehu Mikoman, Yeshiva Achei Temimim (5782/ 2022), Class Six; Third Mishna (2) Introduction (Cont.).
The order of Korbanos in this Perek is that the first three Mishnayos deal with sin offerings (Chattos) [as opposed to the order in Chumash Vayikra].
The idea is that we have the gift of (not only connecting to Hashem, which even Goyim have, but) in connecting to Hashem regarding our sins also!!!
There are personal and communal Chataos (sin offerings), why are there communal ones? They have to do with Rosh Chodesh and Yom Tov, which are both connected to the (disparity between the) MOON (and the Sun).
The idea is correcting imperfection, which is where we partner with Hashem in creation.
This then is the significance of Communal Korban Chattos to ‘atone’ (correct the disparity in this world; which is needed for the world to exist altogether.
