VaHavaya Amar 5737, Class One. This unique Ma’amar explores the two Ma’amarim of Parshas Vayera in the Hemshech Samach Vov, from the two years 5606 and 5607. Both of them deal with Hashem’ special love for Avrohom because of how he will raise his children. But there are differences. What emerges is this: the first Ma’amar speaks of Giluyim only, where the vessel is made to receive the light; the second speaks (also) of Atzmus, where the making of the vessel is an end in itself. Therefore the second one begins with the (earlier) Possuk VaHashem Amar HaMichaseh that from Avrohom even the G-dliness of darkness isn’t concealed.

VaHavaya Amar 5737 Class Two. The Rebbe connects the two ideas עצמות וגילויים to the two פרקים קט”ז- קי”ז in Tehillim (the previous and current Kapitlach of the Rebbe RaShaB in 5737). ארצות החיים two levels the hidden and the revealed (in two different ways). הללו את הוי’ כל גויים וגו’ כי גבר עלינו חסדו two levels: 1) The lower level the non-Jew needs the Jew, 2) The higher level his own relationship with Hashem These two are Atzmus and Giluyim.
