08. ViYaakov Nasa Sukosa 5716 Ahavas Olom is love for Hashem through elevating the world. Ahava Rabba is the lovefor Hashem that is above the world, as represented by the Possuk טעמה כי טוב סחרה tasting the affects of Birurim affects the higher love which is Makif (סחרא- מקיף). This in turn empowers לא יכבה בלילה נרה that even when one is down he can still serve Hashem. When one falls he must continue serving anyway, which explains טעמה כי טוב סחרה לא יכבה בלילה נרה differently: when one serves when down (לא יכבה בלילה נרה) one merits the higher Ahava (טעמה כי טוב סחרה). The Possuk ויעקב נסע סוכתה ויבן לו בית ולמקנהו עשה סכות becomes three steps of this process: A. ויעקב נסע סוכתה he reaches Makif [Ahava Rabba (סחרה)] (Sukkos) after Birur (and Ahavas Olom); B. ויבן לו בית for his person, he, makes the Makif a Pnimi; ולמקנהו עשה סכות but for the Birur it remains Makif. If, however, he falls and survives through Iskafia (לא יכבה בלילה נרה) then even for him personally it remains Makif, which is the end of the Posuk על כן קרא שם המקום סוכות Suka (Makif) for him and the Birur.
