10. UvaGefen Shlosha Sarigim 5735 This little Ma’amar explains a(nother) connection between the Parsha (Vayeshev) and 19 Kislev. The notion of Shalom associated with the Alter Rebbe’s release (פדה בשלום נפשי… יצאתי בשלום מהשם שלום ואסיים בשלום) is in concert with the dream of the Sar HaMashkim (butler) recorded in the Parsha. Wine is normally Bina, which is associated with Dinim (judgement); but this wine was different, as it had a Chochma property. This is indicated in the Zohar, who refers to the three branches on the vine in the dream to kohanim (Chochma), Leviim (Bina) and Yisroelim (Z”A); and the Zohar that says that the grapes on the dream were white (which also means Chochma). This explains how there’s peace even with wine, like the idea of Shalom in Pada BiShalom.
