11a. Mishnayos Perek Aizehu Mikoman, Yeshiva Achei Temimim (5782/ 2022), Class Eleven, Mishna 4 HaOlah (1). The fourth Mishna (no longer speaks of Chataos- sin offerings, but) speaks of the Offering that is entirely consumed by the Mizbeach (the Olah). This type of Korban (given entirely to God and not eaten by man at all) goes back until Adam HaRishon and is part of the religious service of non-Jews (within the 7 laws of Noach). As such this Korban can be seen as the lowest Korban (anyone can bring it) and the highest Korban ( it’s all up -giving- and no down -reciprocal return). This then is the two aspects of this Korban, it is very broad in its possible use and is all about sacrifice (נחת רוח לפני שאמרתי ונעשה רצוני). It is brought after a Chatos as a דורון (to return to the King’s grace after atoning for a sin) or for ביטול מצות עשה (a sin of omission which has no required Korban).
