Class One There are two ideas in קרשים למשכן עצי שטים עומדים in as much as the word עמודים is concerned. The first one (the beginning of the Perek) is in the word עמודים connecting heaven and earth with no change whatsoever; that exactly what is above is below. The explanation is from the idea of the Ba’al Shem Tov on the Possuk שרפים עומדים ממעל לו that במקום שמחשבתו של אדם הוא נמאצ ממש בלי שום שינוי one who wishes to be on high IS on high, even down here. This is connected to the idea of משה being on the level of וראה ועשה he brings down ראי’ה which doesn’t change at all.

Class Two The second idea (the end of the Perek) is from the word עומדים which means standing with a firmness that knows no limit. This is achieved through overcoming adversity, the challenges from the enemy fortify and strengthen to the point of לא שניתי. This is also connected (somehow) to the idea of שרפים עומדים and עצ”ע. This is connected to Moshe Rabbeinu that מעשי ידי משה נצחיים המה.
