20b. Lima’an Da’as 5713, Class Two. This Shiur is very long and it includes Perakim 3-5. I advise doing half at a time, each half is about one hour long, I marked (below) until which minute is the first half and from which minute begins the second half. It has two (of the four) ideas of הוי’ הוא האלוקים: A. This class is from the beginning of the recording until minute 66.30 הוי’ הוא האלוקים בשמים: In Atzilus the power on Godly (unified) light and the Keli (Vessel) are one because they both (together) serve the purpose of revealing Godliness to the world. In two steps: (Perek 3) that the Keli reveals the light (though less of it); (Perek 4) the Keli ultimately reveals ALL the light, that’s the idea in the Gemara, that after 40 years, whatever the teacher knew the student now knows, based on what the teacher taught him 40 years ago. B. This class begins at minute 66.30 until the end of the recording. הוי’ הוא האלוקים בשמים ממעל: Higher than Atzilus the stage is already being set for Atzilus (on the level called חיצוניות הרצון) and there also there’s unity of purpose- to reveal Godliness (and ultimately ALL of Godliness in the ‘space’ of the Tzimtzum). This ‘unity’ includes the event of Tzimtzum HaRishon itself which hides the light completely: she also serves that there be Gilui.
