Viaileh Hamishpatim 5738, Class 1. Introduction, the connection between Sinai and this Parsha. The idea of Moshe giving the Pnimiyus himself. Therefore he must give us Pnimiyus and be Koneh us. The question of why the Parsha begins with עבד עברי ואמה העביר’ה. Torah. This Ma’amar doesn’t talk about the Pnimyus, it deals with the way Moshe (and all teachers) must teach Torah.
Viaileh Hamishpatim 5738, Class 1.
Viaileh Hamishpatim 5738, Class 2. The lesson is teaching that Hashem gives Moshe ways to start from the bottom: עבד כנעני he is either a רשע who is not motivated for good without fear עבדא בהפקרא ניחא לי’ה or (and) a בינוני. The idea that both a רשע and a בינוני are both עבד כנעני intrigues the Rebbe and he explores and explains how the two are one. The levels of עבד עברי and אמה העברי’ה (in light of the above) are not really discussed.
