21b. Aileh Masei 5713 (Class Two). This class explains how we lost this idea of ‘Zikaron’ and the consequences of this. We were warned not to lose our M”A in the times of the Beis HaMikdash (which is the same idea as Zikaron) and we didn’t listen and we forfeited it. The consequence is two things: 1) זכור הוי’ מה הי’ לנו- we lost the Zikaron because opposite מ”ה of Kedusha there is ראו-מ”ה where the Bittul has self-awareness that ends in actual Yeshus; and (moreover) Kedusha is giving life from itself to Klipa based on the principal of ונוקב שם הוי’ יומת. 2) הביטה וראה את חרפתינו- the word חרפה is associated with the mystical idea of widowhood (אלמנות) and two insights are brought: A. we’re estranged from our husband, B. we have been rendered silent. So, we lament זכור הוי’ מה הי’ לנו הביטה וראה את חרפתינו and included in this lament is some alternative way HE can give us back (some of) our מ”ה and partially offset our אלמנות.
