Class One. To justify creation and the darkness involved we have three ideas: 1) ירידה צורך עלי’ה by going down we go higher 2) נתאוה הקב”ה להיות לו ית’ דירה בחתונים Hashem wants a home in the lowest world 3) Teshuva, The third idea of Teshuva is a must, without it the first two aren’t sufficient.

Class Two. There are various examples of the ירידה for the purpose of: 1) The Neshama coming into the world 2) Galus in Mitzrayim 3) The current Galus and the Geula which follows. Four expressions of Geula והוצאתי והצלתי וגאלתי ולקחתי are four steps in Teshuva.
