22b. Mishnayos Perek Aizehu Mikoman, Yeshiva Achei Temimim (5782/ 2022), Class Twenty Two, Mishna 8 Bechor, Ma’aser, Pesach (Class Two). This class begins with explaining the specifics of each of these Korbanos: Bechor, for Kohanim holy from above (in the Rebbe’s words: the Korban of FIRST), even now given; eaten with Mum, not brought from Chutz LaAretz etc. Ma’aser, eaten by owner as Korban, from below WE tithe it (in the Rebbe’s words: the Korban of [last=] tenth, after counting off none for self), obligated everywhere and always, not brought from Chutz LaAretz and nowadays there’s a decree not to separate so no mistake could be made (to eat it before the MUM comes). These two culminate Sefer Vayikra, as the two ideas: Hashem gives Koach and we sacrifice on our own, and the latter is the ultimate idea. Pesach the ‘private’ Korban Tzibur; when Erev Pesach is Shabbos and (even) when it’s Friday, and the difficulties. The idea of מתנה אחת ובלבד שיתן כנגד היסוד (the blood if offered ONCE, so long as (one is careful to place it) against the Yesod. Three ways to do blood 1) with a finger (Chataos), 2) By spraying, splaying the blood from the beaker, 3) pouring it directly downward. These three are described in RaMbaM exactly that way. The meaning in pouring downward is that you going with gravity and really not doing (changing, correcting) anything in the world you’re just “allowing blood to go where it naturally is inclined to go”: lower. | In these 3 Korbanos, we’re doing nothing, we are ONLY Mikablim, taking and no giving, just like when (as explained) Malchus as she is a נקודה תחת היסוד.
