22d. Re’ei 5713, Class Four. This class connects this Ma’amar and the levels of Godliness and Hishtalshelus and the Godliness above Hishtalshelus to Elul and Tishrei. As this Shabbos (Re’ei) is Shabbos Mivorchim Elul. We read Re’ei as Elul approaches and enters as a provision of strength to what will follow in Elul AND Tishrei. Elul is about the lower Teshuva and removing blockages מילה and פריעה (big blockages and little blockages). Tishrei is about a divine revelation and how it raises us to the level of Teshuva Ila’a, in Yamim Noraim in the pole of Gevura (exactitude), like the father who hides from his son, and Sukos and Simchas Torah are the father rejoicing in the son who never stopped looking for his father. It reveals the inner level of Chochma (the idea of Chochma is connected to ‘Father’) and Aisan.
