Class One. Based on the Alter Rebbe’s Ma’amar in Likutei Torah, This class, which is the first of two is dominated by what appears to be the Rebbe’s questioning the Alter Rebbe: The Alter Rebbe explains that after Mattan Torah (some part of) the Jewish Neshama is revealed. He goes as far as explaining this regarding a Jew (whose ‘Yud’ is revealed) in his feelings of regret from sin which he does not -even- act upon. The questions this exclusion of the Jew with no regret. The Rebbe finds a way to include him as well, the fire will brighten later on. The Crown of the Yud.
Class Two. Each Letter of Havaya is another aspect of the Neshama of each and every Yid, when this is not complete it is not good it is corrected through Teshuva (even during the Golus itself). Elul already includes all that will follow from it.
