Class Forty in Section Four of Neshamos come

Neshamos are connected to Keilim (thought) (14). The idea of אותיות עצמיים where the letters are exactly as (one with) the אור so they don’t diminish whatsoever. But in some way they still diminish and Neshamos like Keilim on this level are subject to this subtle level and idea of (theoretical) diminution.
