Boruch She’amar. Class One. Monday 28 Nissan, 5773, April 8, 2013.Class one on Boruch She’amar. The first half is ‘a Piska min HaShamayim’ and according to RaSaG is said only Shabbos. There’s great diversity of nussach (especially in the first half) but in the last few hundred years they seem to converge. A taste of what is to come next week.
Monday 5 Iyar 5773/ April 15, 2013. Class Two. A simple version of understanding ‘Boruch Sheamar’. It includes creation, His favoring people and Tzadikim, reward and punishment, and much praise of Hashem.
Monday 12 Iyar 5773/ April 22 2013. Class Three. Class Three on Boruch SheAmar includes an interpretation from the ‘HaKria VihaKidusha’ on the ten utterances of creation as they are set out twice (!!!) in the Boruch SheAmar; and a (very brief overview of) the Alter Rebbe’s Siddur and his version of the every detail of this prayer and what it represents, four worlds etc.
