15 Shvat 5780, Man’s comparison to a tree; is it a question or a statement of fact? There are two readings: 1) When talking of war, man is not a tree (trees don’t have it in their nature to kill.) 2) When talking of being attached to roots and producing fruit (as a purpose,) man has much in common with trees!!
