The Frierdike Rebbe’s Licha Dodi illustrates how preliminary influence brings to deeper influences until the ultimate influence the converging of two into one (in children). The examples 1) teacher and students, 2) Father and son, how it is in darkness (Galus) to light (geula), 4) Davening from cold to hot. Shabbos.

Lecha Dodi 5714. Two key additions are added to the Previous Rebbe’s version of this Maamar: 1) The makif is only preliminary but it is very great and high in its own right, just not as high as what follows it. 2) The highest point in all this is revealing the Ma’ala of the Mikabel, Malchus the woman etc.
