Layehudim Haysa Orah 5738 (Purim) Class One. This is a Ma’amar about the idea of Yehudim, submission, acceptance without reason, and readiness for Mesiras Nefesh. It further explains how this then plays out in אורה זו תורה with the idea of ברכו בתורה תחילה As well as in ושמחה זה יום טוב, it is higher than the ימים טובים that are connected to יציאת מצרים because of this הודאה and changes Yidden’s relationship with Galus going forward. ששון זה מילה an element of the super-rational is added to this “in the flesh” covenant. יקר אלו תפלין which refers to all Mitzvos really- they all now have a super-rational quality to them.
Layrhudim Haysa Orah 5738 (Purim)
Layehudim Haysa Orah 5738 (Purim) Class Two. The idea of אורה which is both lower (נקבה) and higher (מאיר ומפעיל- the Source of light) than the idea of תורה אור and the two are (logically) connected. Because we created our own Torah, we reached the Source. The idea of יהודים affects תורה, יום טוב, מילה, תפלין not only on Purim, but all year, even though they are limited. The idea that all Yidden were one (וקבל היהודים לשון יחיד) like the idea of ויחן שם ישראל נגד ההר. This was the idea of Mesiras Nefesh and therefore the effect of Purim is forever and unchanging.
