This class was an oral introduction to the beginning of the arrival at Har Sinai where the Torah was given. Complaining and arguing are normal when there is change, but here there was neither. The biggest challenge the Yidden faced was the rapidity of the divine movement; He gave them so much and expected them to trust and follow at His pace and that was nearly impossible, but here they somehow were onboard as they needed to be.
