23b. Ish Yehudi 5736 (Purim Ma’amar) Class Two.
This class discusses the words ושמו מרדכי the word “name” comes before the actual name (Mordechai); this phenomena is consistent with Kedusha and is true of Hashem Himself ושמי הוי’ה.
The Rebbe explains the idea behind this. There’s God (אנכי) who has no relationship with anything; then there’s ושמי which means THE IDEA OF A NAME (without actually having one), this is the beginning of His relating to another; then there is הוי’ה His actual name.
I explained it using the הדרן הגדול’s discussion on מצוי ראשון versus יעלה על הדעת שהוא אינו מצוי.
Galus, because of it’s lack of Giluy forces reverting to this higher level, which can be missed in times of Giluy.
Tzadikim, like Hashem, begin on the level above their specific name (their ‘giluyim’ if you will), and only afterwards come into their expressions. This empowers bringing infinity into the finite world and it being sustained.
The Rebbe finishes with an explanation of the words איש ימיני by hiding Ahava in Binyomin, which is revealed through work we merit קץ הימין- Moshiach.
