01c. Ze HaYom 5736, Class Three. This class explores the second half of the Ma’amar, which is based on the body (not the beginning and the end) of this Ma’amar from 70 years earlier, זה היום תרס”ו. The point is that there are finite levels, where going from one to the other is done through gradual growth (the old is the basis for the new) and then there are infinite levels, where going from one to the other requires destroying the old form (ביטול) to allow for the next level. In this Ma’amar there are actually three levels: A. finite distances that grow cumulatively, B. infinite distances in Giluyim, where growing requires destroying the old (ביטול מדריגא הקודמת) and C. the Etzem, that has no levels, that certainly requires Bittul to reach. These are A. the Worlds (עולמות), B. Gan Eden, C. Eden. The third level (and to a lesser extent the second level) is the transition from יום ראשון to זה היום תחילת מעשיך that in turn makes יום ראשון into זכרון ליום ראשון.
