Hayom Yom – 08 Elul (Class Two). This class involves much repetition from the class before, but much more clarification. The Tzemach Tzedek appreciated how what the Alter Rebbe did (wasn’t only Avoda for his generation [חיי שעה], but also) had a Torah (timeless [חיי עולם]) value and needed to be preserved. He dedicated an incredible part of his life top this end, and in doing this preserved not only the Alter Rebbe’s Torah but the (foundation for) all of ChaBaD Torah.
