29. Vayomer Lo Yehonasan Machar Chodesh 5735
This Ma’amar given in two classes, deals with two ideas:
1) The typical discussion of Machar Chodesh; that in order to have renewal and birth the old is altogether erased and then there’s renewal (מולד); this is Bittul of the Body animal soul and one’s portion of the world, which all sets up the renewal (which he calls זכרון being remembered) and this is the idea of being תופס מקום in a place where nothing has any תפיסת מקום in and of itself.
2) This idea is linked to Parshas Bamidbar, which is always read before Shavuos, due to it’s similarity to Mattan Torah: Bittul for the sake of Gilui: Iskafia (הר סיני- שמשם ירדה שנאה לאוה”ע) and Iskafia (אהל מועד- התגלות אלקות בזמן בבחי’ ונודעת עד בבחי’ ונועדתי).
