The first reason the Rebbe RaShaB cites is לגלות שלימות כחותיו פעולותיו שמותיו וכינויו to actualize His potential and fulfil it.
This purpose (may be valid and realized in creation) but it actualizes only Mimalei Kol Almin, while Dira BiTachtonim reveals Sovev (in and through Mimalei).
And even the idea of Yesh MeAyin which comes form Sovev doesn’t reveal Sovev, as it remains hidden.
