01. True Freedom (156); The Third day (1), Moshe father of Prophecy Class One.
Moshe returns to God with the Jewish people’s willingness to join in the covenant; God proposes how it would happen: He will speak ONLY to Moshe and the Jews will ‘only witness’ this event.
The Jews turn this proposal down: if we’re entering into a covenant with God we’re going to meet directly face to face (be prophets). The next day God offers a new proposal: that the Jewish people be given 48 hours to prepare themselves for prophecy.
In the end this doesn’t work out so well, and ‘plan A’ is revisited.
