This second class on this (second Ma’amar Ze Hayom) continues with a fourth model for the three ideas of כ”ה and ז”ה and the joining of the two together:
4) מלך בשדה is ז”ה (??); and the Avoda of Elul is כ”ה; and joining the King in the Palach where ‘anyone can approach Him (במכש”כ מענין מלך בשדה שרשאין ויכולין and עצע”ג)’ is the joining of כ”ה and ז”ה.
In the middle of this there’s a wonderful examination of words: ובקשתם משם is paralleled to to שיש שם מצוי ראשון (due to the word שם). This means that near Atzmus even שם (with צרה) is far away and warrants Teshuva.
