The discussion of the two איןs or the two דיעות- Elyon and Tachton are explained in Avoda juxtaposed against the Possuk בראשית and the duel ideas of החדש הזה לכם (Torah above the world altogether) and כח מעשיו הגיד לעמו (Torah that entertains the world and it’s complaints and accusations (לסטים אתם)).
The point: Hashem WANTS a world and a lower ביטול (the idea of אנא אמלוך over lower subjects). The ultimate is the union of the lower and higher ביטול called יחוד יחו”ע ויחו”ת which raises the world up (דירה בתחתונים) rather than make it into nothing.
