Daled and Raish, Malchus, starts out poor and needs to be enriched from above and then from below. Bittul is the second requirement of the Daled for this enrichment to take place. Bittul Of Torah (Moshe, rich man), and Tefilla (Dovid, poor man). The poor man’s Bittul exceeds that of the rich man and is therefore more rewarded. Bittul of Chochma (many levels) and of Malchus (the world is Bottul).
