009 Samech Vov (First Version) – Ze Hayom – Class 01

Map of Maamar from pp 10-63 (old edition) (pp 14-85 (new Edition)
Three levels in Hishtalshelus repeated in different models 6 times – Memale / Sovev/ Atzmus

Moshol of the Sun for Light. Black Light (Etzem, Atzmus) passes through the Nirtak (shield) becomes white light (Sovev) makif which shines everywhere equally passes through a second barrier and becomes a colored light, a pnimius light, (Memale) as is found in photosynthesis.

Tzimtzumim – Every tzimtzum consists of two parts – a)removing thre pnimius of the light (the part that is bittul to its source) and b) the chitzonius falls to a lower level and becomes more b’giluy and more detailed. Etzem Ha Ohr is black (its source is black and it is bittul to its source,) tzimtzum removes the bittul to its source and it shines according to its mhus Sovev, makif, white light. A further tzimtzum and the Sovev now becomes hidden and Memale is a pnimius and very different ohr than in the beginning.
All levels of light have all three levels in them. Etzem Sovev, Memale.
TzimTzum HaRishon is attributed to the Arizal.
Alter Rebbe introduced the concept of the Aibishter Himself not being removed after the tzimtzum, (because He is no contradidtion to the World’s existence) but instead is completely misgale because its Atzmus.
Adin Steinhalz (ע”ה) said that everything the Rebbe did was Atzmi, so we didnt notice.
Etzem Ohr Ein Sof is not touched by the Tzimtzum at all.
Sovev is Noga b’tzimtzum and becomes hidden.
Memale is completely changed by the tzimtzum and fits the guf – it is the Kav.
