003 Samech Vov (Complete Version) – Yom Tov Shel Rosh Hashana – Class 03

The three aspects of Shofar are the Mitzva of Shofar, Teshuva, and the Atzmus of Shofar.
The difference between the Kol of the Shofar (a kol pashut a raw cry) and the kol of the trumpets ( a sound that is murcav mixed, melodious,) and how they were blown in the Beis Hamikdash.
The Sounds of the Shofar: The first tekiah is raw and audible, the Shvarim-Teruah are not heard and represent a very deep cry, and the second tekiah is Hashem’s response to us.
Hispaalus is a reaction from an outside stimulus. How can Hispaalus be pnimius? When it is a response to your inside, to a cry from your Chaya and Yechida.
The Story of Chana’s prayer. A person usually talks to Hashem in a quiet , reasonable way as one talks to another person. Chana was screaming, bitter from her Neshama.
A Baal Teshuva is not a keli to Elokus, so when his Yechida is screaming, he also screams and goes out of his keli. An Eved with Reuta D’liba is a keli to Elokus, and his response to a cry from his Yechida is a quiet one.
