Class # 31

Part 13: YESH MEAYIN vs. ILA V’ALUL- 2 types of cause and effect. Speech: a) Words are separate from the person b) can only speak one word at a time c) and with a limited amount of energy. ILA V’ALUL = cause and effect = something from something else – maker and made. YESH MEAYIN = something from nothing i.e.from Himself = something from something else – Maker and made. The only difference is that with Yesh Meayin something new is created. Yesh Meyesh is just changing the form of the material. “There is no such thing as NOTHING even in Pinchus’ head.” ILA V’ALUL – 1) something from something else 2)See the creator in the creation 3) Alul is independent from the creator. YESH MEAYIN 1) something new from Himself, a fundamental change 2) look at the yesh don’t know the Ayin 3) Yesh is dependent on the Ayin every second.
