Hashem didn’t make nisim the Beis Hamikdash, rather its teva was G-Dliness. Nothing changes, but we see things differently. We see the G-Dliness in them and their G-Dly purpose. People in the Beis Hamikdash were packed like sardines, yet they had space to bow down. Their gufim took up space, but didn’t take away space from others. During Aliyas Haregel lions and serpents guarded the Yidden’s houses while they were away in Yerushalayim. This was considered as a natural consequence of doing Hashem’s Will. He also does His part. Not a nes, but a normal occurrence. In the Beis Hamikdash was an outside butcher shop, yet there were no flies. Bread on the Shulchan was still warm and moist 1 week later.
