Class 57

Class #3: Mashal for Sovev Kol Almin (continued). Inside perek 3 p110 5 lines down. Review: Neshama in a guf is a mashal for memale. Ohr,chayas, koach = Sovev, Memale, energy. Mashal for Sovev is Ratzon. Ratzon doesn’t have a specific place. It is both nowhere and everywhere at the same time. Ratzon can be called a reflex. If not reflexive it would take time to move and it doesn’t, it is automatic. Need to explain: Ratzon is b’helem (hidden), Koach is b’giluy (revealed). Story of a biologist who trained himself to only move proactively. Story of mechanical Abraham Lincoln. Differences between Talking and singing; walking and dancing; writing and drawing. Talking, walking, and writing: once the skill is learned to take place automatically. Singing, dancing, and drawing: need to concentrate to express the neshama therein.
