Two interpretations (in the text and in the parenthesis) of the פסוק יהללו את שם הוי’ כי נשגב שמו לבדו הודו על ארץ ושמים and the problems with each interpretation.
1) יהללו את שם הוי the level of Makif that is close to the worlds in an indirect way, and this is why it says שם הוי, meaning אלקים or אדנ”י, and כי נשגב שמו לבדו refers to the level of Makif which is above being involved in the world indirectly, and is לבדו, the level of הודו על ארץ ושמים is again the Makif that is close and therefore is equally on the earth and the heavens.
2) יהללו את שם הוי refers to the level of Makif which has no relationship with worlds and yet we can can praise Him because כי נשגב שמו לבדו the הארה of הוי is above -connected indirectly to the worlds, הודו על ארץ ושמים is the אור פנימי that is מתלבש in the worlds.
This second interpretation has hardships 1) how can we praise a Makif we have no relationship with, 2) how can the Pnimi be equally על ארץ ושמים.
But the first פשט also has hardships.
