Hayom Yom – 04 Elul, Class Three.
After אדם, איש and אנוש there’s גבר;
גבר comes from the word גבורה which means (the strength to) overcome challenge.
1) The Previous Rebbe explains גבר as finding in himself the strength to achieve the higher levels of אדם and איש.
2) We added the idea of Teshuva where you’re exceeding what the Ma’alos of an אדם or איש are, as the Ba’al Teshuva is higher than the Tzadik.
