The Baal Shem Tov
The Ba’al Shem Tov was born on 18 Elul 5458/ 1698He met his teacher Achiya Hashiloni on his 26th birthday, 18 Elul 5484/ 1724He was forced to reveal himself on his 36th birthday 18 Elul 5494/ 1734He passed away on Shvuos 5520/ 1760.He is the father and founder of all of Chassidus חסידות הכללית.
