Ki Imcha Mekor Chayim 5734, Class One. 1) כי עמך מקור חיים Hashem is the source of creation but it is altogether secondary to Him. 2) However באורך נראה אור the purpose of creation which is Torah and Mitzvos באורך is far more meaningful and brings something even higher called נראה] אור]. Ohr is explained on three levels, and this class explains the first two of those three levels. A. the light and warmth of Yiddishkeit itself (אור) is available to us through practicing Yiddishkeit (באורך). B. Yidden reveal this light (not only to themselves but) to the entire world, and (in doing that also reveal) as such reveal their own ‘light’ מי כעמך ישראל
