Likutei Sichos -vol. 15- Page 83 ff. Class Two. This class deals with the second group of 3: 1) Noach– before preparation for Mattan Torah; he tries to stop people from sinning, but doesn’t pray for sinners afterwards; 2) Avraham– preparation for Mattan Torah; he prays for the sinners, but only on the merit of the Tzadikim, because there still is a barrier between heaven and earth; 3) Moshe– the decree between heaven and earth is altogether breached, and he prays for sinners in their own right to be forgiven!!! After the Meshalim of 1) Breishis (teacher who teaches so the student knows only what he taught him), 2) Noach (teacher who teaches the student how to learn on his own), 3) Lech Lecha (teacher who teaches information in the way that it helps the student learn to study [and become a teacher] on his own; comes the forth step, where even the unlearned and uplifted at all are included in the Divine paradigm. These four ideas are related to four different ideas in Ahavas Yisroel.
