Likutei Sichos vol. 21 page 108 ff. Class Three. We learned very little inside, but we talked a lot about the difference between Torah and Chochma. Chochma are theoretical ideas that then need to be chosen and applied to life. Torah (especially Halacha as explained in the ‘Samach Vov’) is Hora’a, where the need to apply the ideas to life are (and actually the basis of) the ideas. This explains both ideas the Rebbe is speaking to in this Sicha: A) The idea of שלישי המכריע the third judge isn’t taking a side but finding a deeper truth that combines the two apposing views. B) The Chazal that says all people have wisdom but only Yidden were given Torah.
