The second half of the Sicha deals with a deeper understanding of the words לא אמר להו ולא מידי משום חולשא דאורחא (fatigue from travel) is explained here to be the STRENGTH to be soft (and ‘weak’) because that is where the unity can emerge.
This ‘journey towards fatigue (weakness)’ is the most important and first step in receiving the Torah; but there are subsequent steps which have to do with strength and the engagement of the faculties (mind and heart).
