ואתה תצוה ה’תשנ”ב The point of the מאמר is 1) לקשר ולחבר את ישראל עם אוא”ס and 2) לזון ולפרנס את ישראל בענין האמונה to which the Rebbe adds 3) לזון ולפרנס את האמונה עצמה. The form of the מאמר revolves around three different “משה רבינו”s 1) that gives דעת in good times 2) another that rouses for מסירת נפש על קידוש השם in terrible times and awakens כתית למאור and 3) that arouses Yidden living in a גלות עשירות בגשמיות וברוחניות to desire משיח to the point of כתית למאור. The Rebbe also has two different ideas of ויקחו אליך. In the beginning Moshe’s “שכר” is separate from what he gives Yidden but at the end, Moshe’s שכר is an enhanced ability to give us based on what we give of ourselves to him.
