We began by reviewing the Tanya until this point: A. We discussed Tzadik, Beinoni, Rasha, in Niglah and Kabbalah. B. briefly visited the Nefesh haBahamis C. Dedicated four Perakim to the Nefesh HaElokis, what it is and what it does. Here in Perek 6, we begin a discussion of the Nefesh HaBahamis. We start by discussing the “essence” of the animal soul in two ways 1) It has no essence or to exist it must deny its essence 2) the essence of all Klipa is Amalek.
