Tanya Chapter 17, Class 4 (131).
This class revolves around a correction in the meaning of the phrase “רשע באמת” (from the Rebbe); this is neither one who who has one sin (רשע וטוב לו) nor one who is altogether without remorse (רשע ורע לו), but one whose sin has led to a loss of control.
This person cannot be a Beinoni (Moach Shalit Al HaLev) without doing Teshuva first.
